The Mooncup

Almost forgot to share my experience on my recent "toy".. the Mooncup!
Let's see, the insertion was simple enough. Much like a tampon depending on how clever you are at folding the cup to its smallest size!
On insertion, I was very tensed. Well, who isn't when it comes to the first time!
Once inside, you can feel a slight pop.. and that's when the cup has opened fully to do its job!
You can't really feel anything once it's all inside. BUT on sitting down, i did feel a slight discomfort. Perhaps it's cos I didn't cut off the tip, as instructed! duuuuhhhh!!!
Now comes the part which makes me hesitate to try putting it on again.
The EXTRACTION! oooh, pain pain! You can feel the cup scratching against the walls of the cervix as you're pulling it out. And it's a real skill to pull it out cos you need to squeeze the sides of the cup to release the vacuum, then pull!
What an exercise!!! Maybe if i had been more relaxed, it would not have been so traumatic.

Let's hope for the better next round!

a day too long..

It's been pretty tough the last couple of weeks.
I don't really know where to begin and this isn't the kind of notes I'd normally keep cos god knows I haven't been very good at posting regularly. Yet, it's not the kinda of stuff that I'd like the world to see.
But writing it feels good. .. a sense of liberation which i can't quite describe.

Settling into married life hasn't been the easiest. Well, it's been tough. There's alot of adjustments to be made .. for myself, and my hubby as well. Who said getting married was a bed of roses!!>!>!>@>@@???

I'm so torn and trapped.

FRIENDS that you thought you had... less there for you..
FAMILY that you thought you could count on.... feels like an outsider...
and the LOVE that you married to... no longer thinks you're worth the time of the day...

:) ....So how?

Well, life goes on.. that's the only sure thing. The sun rises and sets everyday, even if I wish for it not to.

What's next???
A few options which I've discussed with my only S.
  1. Wake early to exercise, at least on EVERY weekday.
  2. Do some charity work every week regardless how little time committed to it.
  3. Think positive and loving thoughts about everything and everyone I encounter, despite their actions or emotions towards me.
  4. ... let's not let the list progress to the point of fantasy land!!
Love n Peace to all willing.

Turning a new page

Happy 30th Ms P. .. And Welcome to the world of the wonderful thirties!
Happy Quitting .. to P and M, and may you have the strength to pull through and persevere. As friends,... good friends, I can only be there to see you through it. I hope and wish these will the last days of intoxication!!! We CAN do it. BELIEVE it... cos I do.

What is your Personality?

Sometimes we don't really know ourselves but I've been reflecting ...and the outcome of this test is shockingly close to what I think of myself. Perhaps if I had taken it 2 years ago, I would not be able to say the same.
What puzzles me most is I'm now an EARTHY person. hhhmmmm, definitely developed over the last year.. but I like it!

Happy Day

Today is a happy day!!

I seldom write when I'm happy but today is an exception.
Actually, there's really no particular reason why i'm feeling good today. Not a special day, no cause for celebration and nothing great happened.
Perhaps it's cos...
I cooked a meal which my hubby thought tasted great..
I was productive at work today...
I found a few lucrative investment plans... but most of all...
I feel blessed and lucky to have the things I have.

Simple actions and way of thinking can lead to great joy.

GreenOrganics

New discovery on the homefront of Living in the Green world of Malaysia!

Found a new website which sells products for Babies, Women and the Home. All of which are made by women and set up by 2 ladies in KL.
Granted, not everything is organic... but they sell products which i've never seen in the market. What is a Mooncup for example???

Check it out... Tiny Tapir.

Yoga Fitness

After planning for the wedding for an entire year, which has finally closed its chapter, i am thinking of embarking into another project in my life. GeTTing FIT!
Since the roller coaster ride of my wedding, i'm feeling quite unfit, lethargic and demotivated with life. THE wedding of my life is complete and i'm still surprised with myself on how i managed it all without having a wedding planner nor bridesmaids around to "really" help me out. it was quite frustrating going through it all myself, and at times, i'd just drink myself silly and drown out all my worries. it's just too much to cope with family, work, and ..err sometimes friends and ....sometimes my hubby!!

Well, time to mooooove on..
I've always been interested in yoga. Though i started many years back, admittedly, i haven't been practicing regularly. Hence, my UNsuppleness. Imagine this, i can't even touch my toes ...standing nor sitting!

So i'm thinking of taking it up seriously. Been researching on the web and asking around about teacher training courses. There are just SO many options!
One Fitness and Sun Yoga seems to be the best around. They're associated to Yoga Alliance in USA and offer courses for foundation and specialised yoga ie. for prenatal and kids.
Snag is, minimum hours of training is a whopping 200 hours!!

Yet to consider.... but am very excited by it.

Anniversary

What does it mean???.. so what if it's just anOTERr day in your life? who would even have known?!!!
frustrating as it may sound but it means the world to me....
i just got married and on the eve of our 1 month anniversary, VERY unsuspectingly, i got SO SO SO angry and irritated with him (short of swearing)! either i need to know how to be the loving and tolerable WIFE or.... i need to be sensitive to his feelings "wife"!
BUT i bet he didn't even notice we got married a month ago today. ..and i had ALLL these plans to do things tday, hoping to surprise him... but no.......NOTHING happend! quellle surprise. maybe that'll be the story of our life.
acceptance is a virtue?
